Computerized Database
All articles about September 11, 2001 that were published in the Union Leader have been scanned into a searchable database. Access is available on the computer dedicated to the Memorial Collection. Other information will be loaded into the computer as it becomes available.

Family members of Union residents who died on September 11 have created scrapbooks for their relatives. The scrapbooks will remain in the Library's collection. Copies are available for viewing at the Reference Desk.

Oral History
The New Jersey Historical Commission has awarded a grant to the Union Public Library to create an oral history reflecting how the community coped with this catastrophic event. Local officials will be interviewed as to what they saw and did on that day. These interviews will be videotaped and will be available on the Memorial Collection Computer.

Comprehensive Reference Resource on the
September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks.

This resource was compiled by the Department of the Army and Airforce, National Guard Bureau. It consists of two CD-ROMS containing documents and photographs related to the September 11th attack.
